Make sure you meet all the requirements to participate in pledging which happens week 6 and 7 of spring term!
Pledging Requirements
1
Theatre Work
All prospective members must have completed at least two trimesters of participation in theatre work at Augustana college.
GPA
All prospective members must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Points
A total of four (4) points from participation in the Augustana Theatre Department is
necessary to be eligible for admission. (See below)
The Point System
One Point

Ushering a Main-stage performance

Publicity (maybe worth more if the role changes to include more responsibility)

Attending at least two (2) Main-stage productions
Two Points

Studio Acting

Auditioning for a Main-stage (cannot be counted alongside acting in Main-stage) Assistant Stage Managing

Working on a crew (unpaid)

Board Operating

Choreographing

Playwriting

Participation in the Opera (Only used after all other points have been calculated)
Three Points

Alpha Psi Events
A total of six (6) tallies from participation in Alpha Psi Omega activities is necessary to
be eligible for admission. Each event participated in counts as one tally. High
commitment activities may count for two tallies if approved by the Executive Board.
External activities may count after other points have been calculated if approved by the
Executive Board.
