About
Alpha Psi Omega
Based at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, the Alpha Omega chapter of Alpha Psi Omega was founded on August 10,1928 by Miss Iva C. Pearce, Lyman Grimes, Pauline Bloomquist, and Dorris Larkin. It has gown today to a yearly average of around 30 members with new members initiated every spring. We are a lively group of thespians who are dedicated to enriching the college and surrounding community through our love of theatre, volunteering, and seeking lives useful.
Who We Are
What We Do
The Alpha Omega chapter hosts a number of annual events such as Rocky Horror Shadow Cast, Running Scared, 24 Hour Theatre, Artist Spotlight, the Masquerade Ball, and many others. We also host an annual formal and semi-formal.

Alongside these events, we also reach out to off-campus organizations. We participate in local event such as Unhuggables at the Black Hawk State Historic Site. In February, we perform The Vagina Monologues with all profits donated to Family Resources.
Every year, we select a charity to support and volunteer at as a group.
Our Motto
We seek to become humble artists through the one and only road of labor and service.
